Workshops are suited to anyone with a DSLR or mirrorless camera. These workshops are unfortunately not suited for smartphone users.
What do I need to bring?
Your camera, any telephoto/zoom lenses, fully charged batteries, empty memory card, folding chair if you wish to sit during the theory section, comfortable clothing and shoes, snacks and lots of water.
Where is the workshop held?
Workshops are located throughout the North West of Sydney. The next workshop will be held on the 28th of June at Rouse Hill Regional Park.
What happens if the weather is not ideal?
We will run the workshop as long as it is not raining. In case of wet weather the workshop will be held the following day, for example all workshops will be held on a Saturday therefore the workshop will be rescheduled for the following day Sunday.
Do I need to know how to use my camera?
A basic understanding of your camera settings are ideal, but there is time during the theory section of the workshop where settings will be discussed. Allira and Brooklyn will also be walking amongst the participants during the workshop offering help and advice.
How many people will be at the workshop?
A maximum of 15 participants are at each workshop to allow everyone plenty of space while photographing.
Is my partner or friend allowed to come along?
Unfortunately no, only participants who have booked their spot in the workshop can attend. The only exception is if someone under the age of 18 would like to attend with a parent or guardian.
Is there a lot of walking involved over rough terrain?
Rouse Hill Regional Park does have some unlevel terrain and surfaces, but is not hard to walk around and access. We will be sticking to paths and short grassed surfaces.
