I was so excited when Winnie's ambassador application came through. Winnie is an Australian Shepherd, a breed originally bred in the Unites States of America on ranches as working dogs. They come in a stunning variety of colours that closely resembling a Border Collie. From the same family, they are indeed two different breeds, with Australian Shepherds having both full and bob tails.
Winnie has a Blue Merle coat, which means the coat is mainly made up of white, grey, blue and black fur. And let me say, Winnie is stunning in the photos but even more stunning in real life!
Our photo session was held at the Paddington Reservoir Gardens, a special place in her pet parents heart. When they were married, they had their images captured at the Gardens, so it was only fitting to have Winnie’s images taken there too. Being a weekend, the Gardens were jam packed full of tourists, brides and grooms, locals and people strolling through. Winnie took it all in her stride, even when she saw a big white wedding dress for the first time.
Here are just some of the images captured during our session, don’t forget to check out Winnie and the rest of the images on Instagram by clicking here
