Vale Shelby, the much loved Border Collie

I first met Shelby just over 5 years ago in 2017 when I photographed him for my Canines of Character fundraising book. We had a beautiful afternoon in Centennial Park wandering the grounds, letting him explore and enjoy himself amongst the flowers. I not long after our session I began to follow him on Instagram and read his online blog posts.

His pet parent, Jenny, emailed me this week asking if I still had the photos from our session, which I did. And this is exactly the reason why I back up images from photo sessions, because it may not be today, or tomorrow, or next week, but one day those images will be needed.

Rest easy Shelby, your pet parents loved you very much and did everything to make your life full and comfortable.
