Toby, Diva and Bailey photo session

2 January, 2018

All I can say about this session was, my goodness what an adorable family! Toby, Diva and Bailey are three fur kids belonging to a wonderful family with four children, and when I read the session booking form which contained a note stating that a combined family image was crucial, I knew I was in for an interesting session. Due to the number of subjects in the session, I asked my fellow Rescue Hub volunteer Rachel for her assistance. And let me tell you, her help was amazing!

Getting and keeping the attention of three dogs for the duration of a photo session is hard work. I find that on average most dogs start to lose concentration at the 60 minute mark, which is why having an assistant to keep multiple dogs interested is so important.

Thanks to Rachel's help, and how amazing all three dogs were, I was able to capture a large collection of images for the family. The family favourite portrait was framed as a large 20" x 30" print, with the addition of three acrylic blocks and a USB thumb drive of digital images.

We waited all afternoon for this precise moment of perfect backlight, and wasn't it worth it!

Toby may be an older gentleman, but you can't wipe the happy smile off his face.

Diva was adopted from the animal shelter, after being surrendered by her previous family. Who would surrender her? She is STUNNING!

Bailey was such a good model for only being 9 months old. Although, we had to clean him off every few minutes as he was a dirt and grass magnet!

One happy doggie family.
