Having driven past Scheyville National Park many times in the past, it was good to finally explore it for a photo session. The weather was perfect for our session day, a beautiful clear sky with the sun setting behind a backdrop of Australian native trees. What more could I ask for?
Taleah is a champion barrel racer, having won many competitions with her Quarter Horse mare Dolly. Strawberry, her other Quarter Horse mare, is currently coming up the barrel racing ranks, and together they make for an adorable duo. Taleah has also has trained her horses at liberty, which made for some stunning photos and much less editing time for me!
I so much enjoy capturing images with not only pets, but their people too, and this session was no different. The afternoon was filled with laughs, smiles and fun!

Taleah, Dolly and Strawberry’s photo session at Scheyville National Park

Dolly is a beautiful Quarter Horse mare, who made the trip to NSW from WA with Taleah.
Palomino and blonde here, a matching pair!
Strawberry is a red roan Quarter Horse mare, younger than Dolly but also doing well in barrel racing.
Taleah had an infectious smile, our session was so much fun!
Taleah also asked if her partner, Ben, could be in a few images. Of course the answer was yes!
