After a string of rainy days and a few reschedules, we finally scored the perfect afternoon for a photo session with Carla and her beautiful trio, Summer the Golden Retriever, Wattle the Labrador and Kai the Golden Retriever. The sun broke through just in time to bathe Castle Hill Heritage Park in a soft, golden glow, with surprisingly mild temperatures for a December day.
Carla wanted to capture the energy of her dogs through action images, as well as the deep connection she shares with them through striking silhouette shots. The park’s natural beauty gave us a wonderful variety of backdrops, from grassy open fields perfect for running shots to peaceful corners ideal for more intimate portraits.
During her viewing and ordering appointment, Carla selected a collection that truly showcases the story of the session including a 20" x 30" wall art piece, a stunning 8" x 10" photo album and all the final digital files to enjoy and share.
Sessions like this are a beautiful reminder of the bond between dogs and their people, and how magical it can be to freeze those moments in time.
