I always love photographing Dalmatian's, they are such a beautiful and unique breed. Spirit and his pet parent Demi booked in one of my Assistance Dogs Australia fundraising photo sessions, and chose to have their session at Fagan Park.
We took the photo session at Spirit's pace, taking lots of little breaks and changing locations throughout the park to keep him interested. Being an older boy, Spirit wasn't took keen on lots of running photos and much preferred to sit and take in the scenery. Early Autumn in Fagan Park is stunning, especially the purple flowers in Fagan Park around the Mediterranean Garden as they were in full bloom. The leaves have not turned brown yet, keeping the scenery green and fresh.
We started our session in one of the large paddocks where Spirit gave us a few little trots in the afternoon sun. We then took a short break, before heading to the Mediterranean Garden. Being a weekend meant that the park was very busy, and lucky for Spirit he loved the attention he received from the public. We had a short wait before the famous Mediterranean Garden steps were free for us to use.
Demi decided to purchase a 20 digital file package from her photo session, as well as an 11" x 14" print of her favourite image.
