Dogs are often referred to as "man's best friend," and there's good reason for that. They bring us joy, comfort, and unconditional love, which is why it's always a pleasure to capture their personalities and bond through photography. That's exactly what we did at Lakes Edge Park with Roxy the Maltese x Toy Poodle and Franklin the Cavalier x Cocker Spaniel.
The photo session started on the bush track, where the dogs were able to run and play in the great outdoors. Roxy, who is 13 years old, showed off her energetic spirit, despite her age, while Franklin, at 2 years old, was full of excitement and curiosity. It was heart-warming to see the two dogs interact and have fun together, and the beautiful bush setting provided the perfect backdrop for capturing their joy.
Next, we moved to the concrete path for some action shots, which provided a great contrast to the natural bush setting making for some unique and dynamic images. Roxy was a superstar, and didn't act her age at all, running around like a young lady. Franklin wasn't as sold on running on the path, so we made our way over to a dirt path that led out of the bush for his running images.
Finally, we made our way around the lake for some later afternoon images. It was the perfect setting to capture some more relaxed and intimate moments between Roxy and Franklin, as they cuddled up and enjoyed each other's company.
In conclusion, it was an absolute pleasure to capture the bond between Roxy and Franklin during this photo session at Lakes Edge Park. The beautiful setting, combined with the dogs' playful personalities, made for an unforgettable experience and some beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. If you're looking to capture the joy and bond between you and your furry friend, consider a photo session at a location that holds special meaning for you both.
