Roux, Cooper and Polly's photo session at home

I recently had the pleasure of photographing three wonderful dogs at their home: Roux the Kelpie, Cooper the Border Collie x Koolie x Kelpie, and Polly the Kelpie. Each dog had their moment in the spotlight as we began the session with individual portraits, capturing their unique expressions and personalities. Once that was done, the fun really began, as the dogs were let loose to run, play, and fetch. Watching them in action was an absolute delight, and the candid moments truly reflected their energetic and joyful nature.

After some playtime, we gathered the trio for group shots, and they absolutely nailed it! These three were pros, sitting perfectly and allowing us to get stunning images in just 10 minutes—talk about impressive teamwork! We wrapped up the session near the dam at the back of the property, where the dogs had the freedom to roam, explore, and simply enjoy their surroundings. It was the perfect way to finish, as it allowed their true personalities to shine.

During the online viewing appointment, their owners selected an acrylic block featuring their favourite group shot, as well as a 5 digital file package. It’s always special to capture the bond between dogs and their humans, and this session was no exception—it was full of love, energy, and unforgettable memories.
