Although I have a rescue dog of my own, I have ha thoughts in the past about adopting an ex-racing Greyhound. People seem to believe that since they are racing dogs that they need lots of training, exercise and room. But in fact, most of them are the biggest couch potatoes you will ever come across! And the one I would like to introduce to you today is Prince.
Gentle Prince is 8 years old with a mainly white body with black spots, often called a 'greymation' by his owners. He is described as a gentle giant who sleeps almost 24/7, often completely on his back with his legs up in the air. However, he also loves a good hoon around the house or yard with his favourite teddy bear toy, most afternoons.
I wanted to capture Prince’s at home nature, which is why we met at the family home and took photos both inside and outside. He loves toys, especially if they squeak, and even stole one of my toys midsession! But totally worth it for this image.
The weather wasn't ideal for our session, but we did make our way outside to capture a few images of Prince in the beautiful front garden of his home.
