This adorable trio came to be in front of my lens due to their owners incredible generosity. Rescue Hub, the rescue group I volunteer with, needed funds to save a dog in the pound who could only be released under special conditions. Included in these conditions was for the dog to be assessed twice by a qualified vet behaviourist, only one our of two in Australia resides in NSW. Because of her qualification, the call out fee is in excess of $500, and Rescue Hub needed to book 2 of them! So they created a GoFundMe campaign to raise the much needed funds, which was just about complete covered by Portia, Evie and Bugs owners!
As a thank you, I wanted to include them in the Canines of Character fundraising coffee table book free of charge. We selected the picturesque Castle Hill Heritage Park, a perfect location during the week as it is never crowded then.
Portia and Evie, being Italian Greyhounds, were a little bit nervous during their photo session. But we captured some lovely images of them, I just had to pull out a few of my little tricks! And Bug, well he was a natural! Looking ever so handsome in his bow tie and cheeky grin.
