I had the pleasure of photographing Obi, a handsome American Staffy, at Kareena Creek near the Camellia Gardens. This quiet and spacious grassy area was the perfect location for Obi, giving him plenty of room to relax and enjoy the session with his pet parents. The calm surroundings helped set the tone for a wonderful afternoon capturing memories.
The session began with solo portraits of Obi, where he enjoyed lots of my treats while smiling for the camera. We then moved on to group shots with his pet parents, capturing the love and connection they share underneath a huge tree right next to the car park. Individual portraits with each of them came next, showing the unique bond Obi has with both of his favourite humans.
To wrap up the session, we let Obi show off his fun and energetic side with some action shots. He was kept on lead the whole time, with the help of my 4m long lead, as the park was an on lead park. It was the perfect way to end a session to and a way for Obi to burn off the last of his energy.
During their online viewing and ordering appointment, Obi’s family selected my 5 digital file package and a 5" x 7" acrylic block featuring their favourite family photo. It’s always special to provide families with keepsakes that celebrate their love for their pets, and I’m so glad they’ll have these memories to cherish forever.
