Lizzie and Zara's photo session at Lakes Edge Park

Who can resist two cute Corgis, I certainly can't!

Throughout the year I have been participating in a set of photography challenges called Embark run by Unleashed Education. I had originally planned to enter a photo of Lizzie and Zara in the "Composition 101" challenge, but when Zara gave me the cutest head tilt I just knew I had to enter the image into the "Say What?" (challenge all about head tilts). And it won me a Top 10 award which means the judges picked it as one of the top 10 best images submitted for that category.

Awards aside, both Lizzie and Zara were the perfect models for our afternoon. As well as capturing images for the challenge, I took some portraits and action shots for their pet parent Becc as a keepsake and thank you for her time.

We met during the week at Lakes Edge Park, which meant that there was very little foot traffic and a super low distraction environment for the girls. Not that the girls needed help, they were model extraordinaires. Posing on logs, sitting and staying on command, anything I needed them to do they did with ease.

Because I know you all love looking at cute photos, here are some of my favourites from the session. Included is the image I won the Top 10 award for, which has its badge on it.
