My photo session with Jedda, Sam, Stevie, and Kip may have been at the end of last year, but I can still remember it like it was yesterday. Although all four dogs have an amazing and dedicated work ethic, they also enjoy a more playful side to life especially if that includes water!
We began our session in the shady grass area above the riverbank, allowing the afternoon to cool down a bit and for the sun to fall lower in the sky. The dappled sunlight filtering through the trees created a beautiful backdrop as each dog had their individual portraits, before setting up a group shot of all four dogs. The dogs loved their treats, and found it hard to sit still for a group portrait, but it didn't take long for me to snap that perfect group shot.
After the serious posed portraits, it was time for the real fun. We let Jedda, Sam, Stevie, and Kip run wild and splash around in the river. They chased balls and sticks with boundless joy, spraying water and sand all over the place. Luckily my camera gear is pretty water and sand proof, but I still kept a fair distance from the splashing and used my telephoto zoom lens to capture the action from a safe distance.
Their pet parents loved the memories we created, and chose my twenty digital file package and a 30" x 20" framed wall art piece of Jedda, Sam, Stevie and Kip with their dad Nathan.
