Heather and Annie's photo session at Lakes Edge Park

There’s something extra special about photographing senior dogs, and Annie the 9-year-old Dalmatian was no exception. I recently met Annie and her owner Heather at Lakes Edge Park in The Ponds for a relaxed afternoon session.

We were treated to a perfectly sunny day that turned into a glowing golden sunset, the kind of light photographers dream about. The session started with individual portraits of Annie soaking up the sunshine, followed by some beautiful moments shared between Heather and Annie. Annie may be getting older, but her playful spirit and sweet connection with Heather shone through in every frame.

As the sun dipped lower, we moved closer to the water to take advantage of the stunning colours. The sunset gave the final images such a warm, magical feel, a perfect way to celebrate the bond between them.
