If I have one word to describe Harvey it would be handsome! Maybe it is because I have Chico the chocolate Border Collie, but I love chocolate/brown dogs, especially with those warm, caramel eyes.
Harvey and his human parents met me at Lakes Edge Park in Rouse Hill for their photo session. A beautiful park complete with lake, bush tracks and manicured lawns. Only a few minutes from Rouse Hill shopping centre, you would never have guessed such a stunning location was nestled in the middle of a residential area.
Harvey recall was very good, so we spent most of his session off lead or with the lead loose on the ground. It also allowed us to capture some unique, and sometimes hilarious, images of Harvey running straight at the camera.
As the sun was going down we captured one of my favourite types of images, silhouette. Lakes Edge Park has a small hill, complete with concrete blocks used for seating, which helped us elevate Harvey above the housing across the lake and capture a clean, colourful background.
