My photo session with Forever Dachshund's was something special. Not only did we photograph nine little snags, but we even captured three generations in one photo!
By far one of my favourite locations to take photos at, Fagan Park provided a beautiful backdrop for the session with its perfectly manicured lawns and beautiful gardens. We began our session in the Mediterranean Garden with a family photo of all the dogs with their human family. Seeing as we had such a large group of dogs, I wanted to get maximum attention when I used my squeaker toy and puppy dog noises before they all got used to the noise. And it worked a treat! The family photos worked out well with minimal editing to get everyone looking at the camera.
After the family images, we moved on to individual photos of each dog. As the afternoon wore on, they all began to get used to the noises and made me work extra hard to grab their attention. But with my years of experience it wasn't too much of a challenge.
One image the family really wanted me to capture was one of grandma Roxy, mum Pearl and puppy Angel, all three generations in one photo. It was a bit of a struggle as little Angel was ready to play and didn't think sitting for a photo was fun. But, with some serious attention grabbing skills and Photoshop, I was able to create a few family photos (see below).
The Forever Dachshund family decided to get a twenty digital file package from their session (which you can see below) as well as a family image as an acrylic block.
