Finnigan's pet parent Natalie booked her session as a part of my Assistance Dogs Australia fundraising project, and opted to have her session at Rouse Hill Regional Park. I love this park so much as it is so easy to access, has many different looks and the scenery is stunning.
We began our session with some portraits of Finnigan by himself. He loved all the weird and wonderful sounds I made, and gave me plenty of head tilts! We then took some photos with Natalie and her partner Hayden on the weathered picnic tables. The weather was simply stunning for our session, with a lot of warm afternoon sunshine early in Spring. I love this time of year to take photos because the weather is starting to warm up, but it isn't too hot like in the middle of Summer.
We then moved to another spot in the park where the long grass grows on either side of the walk ways. Since we had a touch of rain a few days earlier, the grass was looking its best giving the photos a lush green tone.
Our session ended with some more family portraits, but this time on the low benches situated at the front of the park. We had some smoke from a hazard reduction burn blow over which gave the photos even more of an orange glow, but luckily it didn't effect the images too bad. It did made for some very colourful silhouette photos though!
Natalie opted to purchase my ten digital file package, and her favourite image as an acrylic block.
