I had the privilege of photographing Blizzard, a Greyhound known affectionately as Blizzie, during a photo session at Castle Hill Heritage Park. Innes, Blizzard's owner, booked her for my Assistance Dogs Australia fundraising project in May. The warm colours of the Autumn afternoon provided the perfect backdrop for our shoot, and Blizzard was an absolute joy to capture in photographs.
Blizzie's elegance and grace were on full display as we explored the park's picturesque surroundings. Every shot captured Blizzard's playful spirit and gentle nature, creating timeless memories that will be cherished. We took full advantage of the Autumn colours and fallen leaves on the ground, Blizzard took it all in her stride.
This photo session not only brought us joy but also contributed to a meaningful cause. By capturing Blizzard's essence, we were able to support Assistance Dogs Australia and make a difference in the lives of those in need. Together, we celebrated the remarkable impact that assistance dogs have in transforming lives and spreading happiness.
Innes chose to have her images delivered digitally and opted from the ten digital file package. Shortly after her images were delivered, I received a heart-felt email from her, "Hi Allira, thank you so very much for such beautiful photos of Blizzie- I just adore them! They will always be treasured". I absolutely love receiving emails such as this, it just makes my heart sing.
Here are the images Innes will treasure of her beloved Blizzie.
