Bailey and Marshall's photo session at Fagan Park

13 August, 2020

Bailey's pet parent, Rachel, was lucky enough to win a photo session with me through an Instagram competition. Rachel and I have actually met before the session, working together and also having and mutual friend. I was so excited to finally meet her Border Collie, Bailey, and three days before our session they welcomes another dog to the family that of course just had to be included in the session. Enter Marshall the Dalmatian.

Rachel had Bailey from a puppy, and recently adopted Marshall from the vet clinic she works at. Marshall was surrendered as the family could not tend to his medical needs and requested euthanasia. The team could not let that happen, and, after tag teaming Marshall's foster care and treating him for weeks, Rachel decided she could not part with him and added him to the family.

We had perfect weather for our session at Fagan Park, with the whole park almost to ourselves. Bailey, like most Border Collies, is ball obsessed, so of course we had to capture some action images as well as traditional portrait style images.
