Alicia's photo session at home

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Alicia and her beautiful horses at home, a peaceful afternoon spent capturing portraits of her Australian Stock Horse, Soxy, and her Warmblood, Cece.

While the session was focused on these two, Blondie, another Warmblood in the family, made a brief but special appearance for a few group shots. It’s always lovely when we can include everyone, even if only for a moment. Even one of the family's French Bulldog featured in a few photos!

There was some light smoke in the sky from distant back burning, but thankfully it didn’t affect the outcome of the images. In fact, the sky still offered a warm, gentle light that worked beautifully with the property’s surroundings.

Alicia chose the 20 digital file package from her gallery, a lovely collection of portraits that reflect not just the personalities of Soxy and Cece, but also the quiet bond they share with Alicia. She also chose one of her favourite images as a small acrylic block.

Sessions like these are always such a joy to be part of.
