Adrianna and Blinky's photo session at home

I don't think you could find a more adorable duo than Adrianna and her pony Blinky! The bond they share cannot be put into worlds.

Although we had an overcast day for our session, the clouds parted and gave us some colour in the sky in the afternoon thank goodess. We first began our session with some photos of Adrianna and Blinky on the ground posing with my photo halter which was removed in the final editing phase. Adrianna wanted images of her riding Blinky too, but to avoid him getting sweaty on his back from the saddle pad we started with the posed photos.

We then headed back to the stables and captured black background images before saddling up Blinky for the ridden image. Our session was held in Autumn which means most of the trees in the background were turning that magical orange colour, adding to the golden feel of the photos. Adrianna rode Blinky around first to help get some energy out before asking him to stand, which was the perfect opportunity for me to capture action images.

The action images consisted of walking and trotting, both towards me and across my camera. Adrianna was amazing with my instructions, and made my job so easy! We then stopped for some posed shots and finished the session with images of Adrianna dismounted and posing with Blinky still tacked up.

Adrianna's family loved twenty of the images from the session, and picked them as a digital file package.
